Born in Brazil and raised in Brazil, Germany, and the United States, I was introduced to a wide variety of cultures in my early life, all of which manifested later on in my creative work. With photojournalism, I look to capture the sublime and the liminal while maintaining the integrity and the sensibility of my subjects. My photojournalistic projects range from documenting the effects of the Coronavirus on communities living in the Brazilian slums, to the exploration of life and work from New York City street artist Colin Huggins.

Now at New York University studying Film & TV, I have gravitated towards filmmaking and editorial photography where I embrace the visceral and elegant looks of my subjects. My recognition that I could combine my passion for film and depicting people in extraordinary circumstances has put me in a path of self discovery knowing that in order to express yourself, first you have to know yourself.
